Our signature spore print logo hides the name Santa Cruz Substrates deep within the gills—just like those iconic '90s metal albums where you had to squint to even read the band name. Look closer: you'll find depictions of life, love, and death spiraling out from the center. It’s a mycelial mandala. A reminder that everything starts with decay, and ends with rebirth.

Originally illustrated in 2019 by local Santa Cruz artist Elliot Bliss, this design has grown with us from the underground up.

Available in ocean-washed blue tie-dye, each shirt features a finely embroidered emblem, giving texture to the chaos. From compost to consciousness—we wear what we grow.
